Therapy Session

I have morning "therapy sessions" with a friend as we haul our asses out of bed at 5 a.m. to go walking. Now this may seem noble (the walking) but I go mainly for the chats we have.

Today was "my" day. And I realized a couple of things.

I've been accepting much less than I deserve from the FWB and I'm tired of it.

I've been letting it color my view of my worth as far as a job and my own self-esteem.

Shit.

I like the morning therapy thing. I need someone like that down here. If you ain't gettin' what you deserve from FWB, move on dear. You need someone who gives you what you want and deserve!

Morning walks are great therapy.

You are not alone, I had a FWB in my life for almost two years. During the last eight months I was so unhappy and I realized that I was settling for the convenience with a mediocre lover.

Carlos is right, you deserve better.

Moving on can be a sticky situation if you're truly friends. Trying to remain friends while cutting out the benefits part can be hurtful or disappointing, you may have to decide how strong your friendship really is.
